NOW HIRING: CREATIVE PROJECT DEVELOPER
For: Guam-based company at start-up level

We are currently hiring for the position of “Creative Project Developer”. This position requires working with the lead project director and other team members on a daily basis, to achieve the successful completion of numerous projects. It is a job suited for a graphic artist who can do more than just “draw”, and can actually convert creativity to lucrative ventures.

The projects are mainly related to the “creative” and “technology” fields. One such example would be to develop an online business, where the website itself is the primary premise of the business. The position does not require one to “build the website”. We already have website developers. Rather, it would require one to develop the concept of the business, gather resources, plan the marketing of the website, interact on social networks to populate the website, and coordinate with our team members to make the online business happen. One would be required to guide the project from infancy to a successful launch. Once launched, the project is considered completed, and one can move to another project. There will be numerous such projects.

• Develop a suite of creative and tech services to help small businesses
• Develop a line of locally made crafts
• Book Publication
• Market a software (web-based application) which we have already developed
• Develop company’s YouTube presence
• Develop an online Service for the Tourist Market
• Develop e-community based programs to help the community gain access to vital information online
• To launch numerous online portals, guides, and ezines
• And more!

 

The Project Developer’s role is to make projects happen. At times, it may require to work behind a computer, while at other times, one may be trying to sell an idea to a client. The job requires versatility.

 

We are looking for an energetic and enthusiastic team player.
The following would help in this job:

• Must have: Knowledge of art-based programs, such as Corel Draw, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.
• Creativity, “outside the box” thinking
• Conceptualizing; planning of projects; working on schedule
• Creative design; to be able to compose illustrations and designs; to be able to develop logos, fliers, ads, etc.
• People person; to be able to “sell” an idea, services, or products; to be able to conduct meetings in a business setting
• Web savvy; high degree of familiarity with the Internet
• Knowledge of social media/networks and their functionality
• Professionalism; ability to work in a business environment; ability to make presentations to large groups
• Tech savvy; high degree of familiarity with computers and smart phones
• Marketing/Branding knowledge; understanding of guerilla marketing
• Good communication skills; ability to relay concepts and information to team members over email and chat
• Ability to handle parallel assignments and projects; there will be numerous things happening at once
• Good means of transportation is required
